Using the attached hamburger paragraph model, write a paragraph on fall (autumn). Be sure to select a specific focus in fall to write about (from your bell work brainstorm).
After you write the TOPIC SENTENCE for your paragraph, write your FIRST AND LAST name on the blackboard under "My topic sentence is done". I'll take a look at the topic sentences in the order your names appear on the board and give you a thumbs up or thumbs down. :)

REMEMBER: Your supporting detail sentences should be related to your topic sentence. The concluding sentence should look SIMILAR to the topic sentence, but NOT identical to the topic sentence.
